It's Official

Today, Christopher officially became a Niforatos.  Poor kid doesn't know what he's in for.

After waiting the requisite 24 hours, we returned to the civil affairs office to sign some documents and become a family.

We also had time to FaceTime John and the kids back home.  Christopher didn't actually get what was going on, and all the other kids screamed and competed for screen time.   There were a lot of "awww"'s and "Nibao"'s.  Very sweet.

Christopher continues to love his toys.

He also loves the mirror.

"Wow. I sure am good-looking'"

I gave him a bath and he loved it.  He is such a little guy, and he can't even sit up properly by himself without losing his balance.  I really had to hold onto him in the bath.

The breakfast buffet in the hotel this morning was the trickiest time I've had thus far.  He was a little afraid of all the sounds and all the people, and was griping onto me tightly.  I had to carry him as I gathered the food, making 4 trips back and forth.  He would not sit in the high chair, so I let him sit on my lap.  I had forgotten (how could I forget?!) how little ones spastically grab at hot cups of coffee and breakable china while sitting at a restaurant.  So, I wasn't able to eat much, but Christopher sure loved his steamed bun!

I am exhausted again, and off to bed.
